Meet Joy Douglas, Owner & Operator
I was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina, but I’ve been a resident of Rock Hill, South Carolina for 10 years now. I attended South Carolina State University and graduated with a Bachelor’ of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. I also received a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
Hello, My name is Joy Douglas. I am the Owner & Operator of Speech Linx LLC.
Currently licensed with the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and with the South Carolina State Board of Education as a Speech Language Pathologist.
I also hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with the American Speech and Hearing Association ( ASHA) a governing professional and credentialing organization for speech-language pathologists.
I have served public schools, families and communities for 12 years as an Educator and Speech-Language Pathologist. I enjoy providing speech/language services to preschool & school-aged children.
My passion is serving children who have difficulties with learning due to language, social and reading difficulties. My desire is that all students have an opportunity to grow into knowledgeable and productive citizens despite any learning deficits.
When I’m not serving children, I enjoy nail pampering, family time and date nights with my husband.
